This painting depicts the garden of his residence in Verheuil, a small town along the Seine River in France.  The painting showcases a vibrant and lush garden filled with colorful flowers, tall trees, and winding pathways, In This version of his garden he added a girl and a Black Cat Named Silly.  Claude and Silly were good friends, and she visited quite often.   She always made him laugh which he expresses in his paintings.
