This Iconic painting is probably Van Gogh's most popular. Painted in 1889,  which he thought was a failure.  There are so many various versions of "Starry Night".  When he painted Starry Night it was his view from his window while he was in the asylum suffering from a nervous breakdown. 
 
Its the stars, and the winded clouds swirling formations.  It's the moon and the many Phases captured.  Van Gogh had many of his paintings leading to Starry Night that are many miles away in the distance but you will get a glance.  Also, there's kind of a path that he is taking you on.  Maybe you are eating at his favorite restaurant the Cafe Terrace, or watching SIlly Black Cat chasing birds around in a cornfield. Just looking up you would see the magical sky growing the closer you got,  Revealing its secrets only a little at a time    🐈‍⬛
 
 Silly Black Cat is staring at the display of the stars and the wind has swirled the golden clouds putting on a firework show in the sky.   It's one of her favorite places to go, it's just so magical and whimsical.
